2025 Chinese Grand Prix

Oscar Piastri won the 2025 Chinese Grand Prix for McLaren, finishing 9.748 seconds ahead of Lando Norris (McLaren), with George Russell (Mercedes) completing the podium. Piastri had also started from pole position. Lando Norris set the fastest lap, a 1:35.454 on lap 53.

It was round 2 of 24 of the 2025 Formula 1 World Championship, held at Shanghai International Circuit in Shanghai, China on 21–23 March 2025. It was a sprint weekend: Lewis Hamilton won the Sprint for Ferrari.

After round 2, Lando Norris led the 2025 drivers' championship on 44 points, 8 ahead of Max Verstappen. McLaren led the constructors' standings on 78 points.
