Aston Martin’s modern F1 team traces back to Jordan Grand Prix, which arrived in 1991 and won four races. The Silverstone outfit was later Midland, Spyker and Force India, then Racing Point after a consortium led by Lawrence Stroll bought it in 2018; Sergio Pérez won the 2020 Sakhir Grand Prix in that guise. The Aston Martin name returned to the grid in 2021, six decades after the marque’s brief works entry in 1959 and 1960.
