Lotus-Climax, a British constructor, competed in the 1963 Formula 1 season with Jim Clark and Trevor Taylor. Peter Arundell, Pedro Rodríguez, Jack Brabham, Maurice Trintignant, Mike Hailwood, Bernard Collomb, Mike Spence, Walt Hansgen, Thomas Monarch, Ernie Pieterse and Neville Lederle also raced for the team.

Lotus-Climax won the 1963 constructors' championship with 54 points, 7 wins and 9 podiums – 18 points ahead of BRM. Lotus-Climax won 7 Grands Prix, the last of them the South African Grand Prix.
