BRM, a British constructor, competed in the 1971 Formula 1 season with Jo Siffert and Howden Ganley. Pedro Rodríguez, Peter Gethin, Helmut Marko, Vic Elford, George Eaton and John Cannon also raced for the team.

BRM finished 2nd in the 1971 constructors' championship with 36 points, 2 wins and 4 podiums – 37 points behind champions Tyrrell. BRM won 2 Grands Prix, the last of them the Italian Grand Prix.
